Historias íntimas del paraíso (c.1978), Jaime Salom Vidal

Scene

The play takes place over two acts.

Staging

The play is set in a leafy corner of Eden, populated with trees and grass. There is also a desk, papers and a bed. At the start of the play Angel waves someone off and we hear the loud noise of a helicopter. When Lily first appears she is encased in a cellophane egg. Adam and Lily dress casually in jeans and vests. Eve wears very childish clothes. Angel wears a uniform resembling that of a hotel manager. Both Adam and Lily make flutes, and from time to time we hear flute music. Lily spends a lot of act 2 sitting on a branch of the Tree of Good and Evil, which is an apple tree. At the end of the play, the humans are expelled accompanied by thunder and lightening.
