This is a two-act play with six scenes.
A solid lectern with a corresponding rectangular lamp and a low table on which a jug full of water is standing with some paper cups. These are the only pieces of furniture on stage.
The light – on the audience and on stage – is at the same strength throughout the two acts. The only incidental music heard during the interval is a lively, stirring bolero by Pedro Flores or Rafael Hernández. The only time the curtain comes down is at the end of the second act.
A lively, stirring bolero by Pedro Flores or Rafael Hernández is heard during the interval.
