El conde Partinuplés (?), Ana Caro

Scene

It is a three-act comedia

Staging

Stage directions call for stage machinery, for example three actors need to be carried away on a ‘cloud’ and birds fly out of a pie; during the banquet scene cups and plates move without apparent human intervention; and Rosaura is said to appear up high on a balcony during the tournament scene.

Short songs are sung, and music is heard.
